Dignified work

We live in the dictatorship of the market and have a lot to question, but it's not that I want to talk at this time. I wish we could think of the dignity of those who make this great machine, which promotes mindless consumption and the negative values are moving in favor of the pockets of much known people ever. Since the establishment, by force, the logic of capital accumulation and private property in Chile, working conditions of workers in the country have been punished under the pretext of "reduce costs and increase profits", even to commit atrocities that directly threaten the integrity of the people who work tirelessly and valiantly and still manage to be confident enough to make ends month calm, unhurried.
An example of this are the workers of major retail chains have been lifted today demanding improved working conditions and rewards for their work. Many of them have been made invisible by the press and quiet for its executives. Some have had to give up the fight to see not affected either their salary or longevity with the company. Many times I heard the old saying that work dignifies man, But how high I have doubts about that today! Even more seeing the harsh reality of hard-families can not cover their basic needs, they have secured the right to housing, to health and also bear the weight of a probably uneasy and sad old age. At what point will take action and work for a more just, less unequal and more inclusive? It is outrageous and unacceptable to live in a country where, even working, a family still lives in poverty. I invite you to get out of our homes with the willingness to change the model, with the conviction that our will be achieved by adding impose respect for life before anything else.
